Dr. Trussell and Katrina Thane with Carm Letz at the retirement reception for the Thanes, Tuesday, July 27, 2021. The Thanes have helped Stamford and surrounding area keep their vision healthy for the past 27 years. 22 of those years have been in the Jones-Haskell Eye Clinic at 1501 Columbia St., a building they bought from Stamford Hospital when a multi-doctor clinic closed. Dr. Thane will continue farming, and Katrina indicated she has cleared her calendar for the next year.
