Terry B Jordan of West Columbia, TX, 84, entered eternal peace July 18, 2023 in Angleton, TX. The family received friends at the Tankersley Funeral Home at 807 S. Columbia, Stamford, TX from 5 until 6 p.m. on Thurs- day, July 20, 2023 and funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jessie Morton officiating. Interment followed at the Spring Creek Cemetery in Avoca. Terry was born on October 7, 1938 in Grow, TX, in King County to Harley and Gladys Mayberry Jordan. He was a member of the United States Army from December 3,1956 to August 26,1957 with an Honorable Discharge. He met Sylvia Dodgen in Vega, TX where they married on February 12, 1965. They had two daughters together, Paula and Pamela. Terry worked as a rancher/ farmer, as well as the oil field industry and road construction. In his retirement he enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Terry is proceeded in death by his parents, Harley and Gladys, his wife Sylvia of 29 years, brothers: Lanston Jordan, Lesley “Leon” Jordan, and Wade Jordan. His sisters: Marybeth Jordan, Jane Jordan, Maureen Rogers, and Joann Nolan. He is survived by his daughters, Paula and husband John Young, Pamela and husband Arturo De La Cruz, grandchildren, John Andrew and Jessica Young, Tyler and Cheyenne De La Cruz, along with multiple great grandchildren.
