Mattie Sue Ford

Mattie Sue Ford, 69, was born March 27, 1951 in Stamford, Texas, to Henry Lee Brown and Zema Eddington. She was a lifetime resident of Stamford and graduated from Stamford High School. She was blessed with two precious sons, Lawrence and Travis.

 Mattie Sue married Billy Ford in 1980 in Abilene, Texas and they are members of the Bethel Church of God in Christ. She worked in the housekeeping department at the Skyview Living Center for many years.

 She enjoyed singing in the Church, visiting with family and friends and enjoyed working crossword puzzles at her leisure.

 Mattie Sue passed from this life to life eternal on Thursday, October 29, 2020 in Wichita Falls TX.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Ernest Mays, two sisters Fannie Lou Mitchell and Billy Sue Ray, and two nephews Eddie Mays and Kenneth Mays.

 Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Billy Ford of Stamford; two sons, Lawrence (Tina) Eddington of Dallas TX; Travis Washington of Livingston, TX; daughter Angela Mosley of Midland, TX; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; mother-in-law Lucinda Dean of Stamford; father-in-law Billy Ray Johnson of Pomona, CA; brother Gary Brown; sister Celia Brown both of Wellington; and sister-in-law Connie Mays; and a host of nieces and nephews.
