Norma began her formal education at the New Hope School where she attended through her 8th grade year and entered Stamford High School for her freshman year. Norma began her sophomoreyearatAvocaHighSchoolwhereshemettheloveof herlife, Mr. RobertMcLellan. RobertandNormawereunitedinmarriage on February 15, 1948, in Anson, Tx with W.K. Horn officiating. Untothisunionthreechildrenwereborn, JerryLynn, LarryKeith, and Kathy Janeane. NormawasadedicatedChristian, lovingwife, mother, grandmotherandhomemaker. OnFebruary15,2021, NormaandRobert celebrated73yearsofmarriage. Throughouttheirmarriagethey worked together as a team. In day-to-day life they crafted, cut, pieced, andsewedseveralquilts, babyblankets, potholders, and manyotherbeautifulcraftitems. Normawasatalentedpianistfor over70yearsandblessedseveralBaptistchurcheswithhergiftof music. Norma also worked outside of the home as an Avon lady andnurses’aide. ShethenfurtheredhersalescareerasaTupperware lady where she was a sales manager and received national recognition. ShelaterworkedinretailsalesforHassen’sDepartment Store for 10 years prior to retiring in 1992. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Allice Blankenship, andherthreesistersandbrothers-in-law, Fannieand Jack Butler, Jessie and Lewis Byrd and Vivian and W.H. Cheek. Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Robert McLellan of Stephenville, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Mary Jo McLellanofCanyonLake, TX; sonanddaughter-in-law, Larryand SondaMcLellanofGodley, TX; daughterKathyFeltsofStephenville, TX, 9 grandchildren, Scott McLellan (Ashley), Emery Letz (Casey), Erin Dunham (Ricky), Trey Felts, Brittenie Polk (James), Mackenzie McLellan, ChrisNorman(Jamie), JenniferNorman(Harley); great grandchildren, Madisyn, Rylan, and Cale Letz, Farrah Felts, Morgan and Dakota Sanders, Raelea Lowack, Josie and Lucy McLellan, Landrie and Bristol Polk, Shelby Thomas (Micah), Tyler and Ryder Norman, Hunter and Taylor Stockton; great, great granddaughter, EmmaThomas; special familyfriendsSharonMcGheeand Donand Kate Embrey and a host of other relatives and friends.
