Olga Lumbreras Pardo

Olga Lumbreras Pardo 75, of Stamford passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 in Stamford with family. A visitation was from from 6-7 p.m. Monday from 6-7 p.m. in the Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service was held on Tuesday June 22, 2021 in the Highland Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Andy Moreno officiating under the direction of Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home. Olga was born March 26, 1946 in Cotulla, Texas to the union of Eugene and Modesta Ynocencio Lumbreras. She was a hard worker all her life and worked alongside her parents picking cotton in her younger years which is where she met her husband to be. She married Dario Martinez Pardo in Stamford in 1962 and has lived in Stamford all her married life. She enjoyed cooking and especially during the holidays when her family would gather. One of Olga’s greatest pleasures was being able to spend time with her grandchildren, which she would do at every opportunity. Her family relates that she had a very good sense of humor and it was very enjoyable to spend time with her. Other pastimes she enjoyed were working crossword puzzles and spoiling and loving on her “four-legged babies” Molly and Lucy. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Modesta Lumbreras; Sister Connie Mendez; Son Dario Pardo Jr.; Granddaughter Mikinzey Anders; Grandson Joshua Andrus. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Dario Pardo of Stamford; Her children Margaret and Domingo Rodriguez, Modesta and Dennis Rodriguez, Maria and John Escamilla, Seledonio “Sel” Pardo, Steven and Jennifer Pardo, Molly and Jesse Martinez all of Stamford, Luther “Woody” and Dedra Pardo of Beckville, Texas, Monica Pardo and John Flores, Prudencio “Parrot” Pardo, Christopher and Amanda Pardo, Dario Jesse Pardo and Denise Pardo all also of Stamford; 39 Grandchildren; 53 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great- Great-Grandchildren.
