Patsy Ruth Henderson

Patsy Ruth Henderson, 88 of Lueders passed away October 20, in Abilene. A graveside service was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23 in the Clearfork Cemetery in Lueders with Reverend Christopher Holder officiating under the direction of Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home. Patsy was born on December 18, 1932 in Old Glory, Texas to the late Clarence Richard and Ruth Edna (Tomlinson) Peters. She married Jack Donald Henderson of Stamford in June of 1950 and they made their home in Lueders. She attended the First Baptist Church in Lueders and worked at Skyview Living Center for many years and felt blessed with the opportunity to help their residents. Spending time with her family was one of the highlights in her life and she took pleasure in cooking for them. Patsy loved her “fur baby” Katy. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Donald Henderson; Two sisters Imogene Fenner and Dixie Hill; One brother James (Sonny) Peters; Mother Ruth Hunt; her father Clarence Peters; One grandson Brian Keith Henderson. Those left to cherish her memory are her children; son Gary Henderson and Marsha of Houston, Texas; daughter Carolyn Holder and son Keith Henderson and Sharon all of Lueders; Grandchildren Michelle Lee Henderson, Mat and wife Emily Henderson all of Houston, Chris Holder of Dallas, Tiffany and husband Corey Cacy of Melbourne, FL, Heather and husband Chris Littles of Hendersonville, TN, Brandon and wife Justine Henderson of Lueders; Great- Grandchildren Samuel Donald Henderson, Carson, Tyson and Madisyn Cacy, Emily Holder, Bailee and Braydon Henderson, and Hanna Littles.
