Louis Juarez Gonzales, 90, of Stamford, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in Fort Worth, TX. A Funeral Mass was held for Louis Gonzales, December 9th, 10 am at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 1201 S. Cherry Ln, White Settlement, TX 76108 given by Father Pedro Martinez. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10, at 10:30 am at House of God Church, 802 S. Ferguson St. Stamford, TX 79553 given by Bobby Acosta. Louis was born August 24, 1931, in Iowa to Eulogio & Ascension Gonzales. He married his wife Apolonia (Pauline) Gonzales in 1955, in Rotan, Texas. They began their life in Stamford, TX where they raised their 3 sons. Soon after he started his family, he opened Louis Janitorial Service, which later his son Robert would take over. In 1960’s Louis opened & operated Louis Furniture & Appliance until he retired, with his wife Pauline. Louis was an active member of House of God church in Stamford. Louis also served as member of the Lions Club in Stamford. When Louis was not working, he loved spending time with church family, drinking coffee with his friends, spending time at his favorite restaurant Mi Familia, & most of all loved spending time with his grandchildren. Louis was preceded in death by his father, Eulogio Gonzales, mother Ascension Gonzales, Wife Apolonia (Pauline) Gonzales, Son Sammy Gonzales, Grandchild Christopher Elias, & Brother Paul Gonzales. He is survived by 2 sons, Robert Gonzales Sr. of Stamford, Joe Gonzales of Odessa. Sisters, Janie Moreno of Fort Worth and Suzie Martinez of Pensacola, FL. His grandchildren Robert Gonzales Jr., Kristy Gonzales, April Stefanisin, & Matthew Gonzales. His great-grandchildren Jacob Garcia, Kelsey Cardenas, & Jagger Gonzales. One greatgreat grandchild, Jace Garcia. Numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. Memorial contributions can be sent to the church Louis loved, House of God Church, PO Box 4, Stamford, TX 79553.
