Thomas Keith Corzine

Thomas Keith Corzine, 64, of Stamford
passed away Saturday, March
13, 2021 in Abilene. Family received
friends on Monday, March 15, 2021
from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Kinney-
Underwood Funeral Home. Funeral
service was at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St.
Johns United Methodist Church with
Pastor John Erwin officiating. Burial followed
in the Highland Memorial Cemetery
directed by Kinney-Underwood
Funeral Home.
Keith was born November 30, 1956 in Haskell, Texas to
Thomas Lewis and Minnie Verlene (Vahlenkamp) Corzine.
He was a lifelong resident of Haskell County. He graduated
from Stamford High School in 1975 and attended Texas
State Technical Institute in Sweetwater studying building
construction.
He married Louise Byrd August 26, 1977 at Faith Lutheran
Church in Sagerton. They were members of St. Johns
United Methodist Church.
Keith was a longtime director of Capital Farm Credit
(PCA) and was devoted to the cotton industry, serving on
various boards; Farmers Co-Op Gin of Stamford, Rolling
Plains Cotton Growers Association and Cotton Incorporated
just to name a few.
He was an avid outdoorsman; enjoying farming, tending
to his cattle and spending time with family, most especially
his grandkids. When time allowed, he enjoyed hunting,
motorcycle rides with “The Harley Group” and taking
cruises with the “Cruising Cousins”.
He was preceded in death by his father Lewis Corzine
and his brother-in-law Randy Smith.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother Verlene Corzine
of Abilene; his wife Lou Corzine; sons and daughtersin-
law Justin and Amber Corzine, Kevin and Lacie Corzine
all of Stamford. Grandchildren Ariel, Jacy Keith, Addison
and Mason Corzine all of Stamford; his brother and sisterin-
law Kenneth and Debbie Corzine of Aledo; sister Diane
Smith of Abilene; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and
cousins.
